We got well into the Christmas Spirit this year by making our very own Sloe Gin, bottled it and presented it as a limited edition to some of our friends and clients as a Christmas gift.
It all started a few months ago when we picked the berries which had been ‘nipped’ by the first frost of the year. We then pricked the berries with a pin and steeped them in Gin and sugar until just before Christmas.
Only 50 x 250ml bottles were filled, labelled and hand-numbered. The whole idea was to encourage drinkers to slow down, and enjoy a glass of our beautifully coloured Sloe Gin over the Festive Season. #takeitsloe
